Brief History

Vajra Instrument grew from science developed by researchers in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska (UNL). Numerous subsequent innovations and development fueled by discovery of additional principles led to a turn-key instruments, Scanning Electrometer for Electrical Double-layer (SEED).  The technology development has been funded by the National Cancer Institute and the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health, the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, and Nebraska Research Initiative.
